Joanne McLaughlin has worked in public radio and at newspapers in
Philadelphia, upstate New York and northeastern Ohio, involved in coverage of everything from politics and murder, to sports and interior design, to fashion and financial markets, to Pulitzer Prize-finalist architecture criticism. As vice president of a musicians-management firm and record company, she publicized blues artists and produced and promoted their work. She lives in Philadelphia.
